Mira is beautiful Persian seraband runner. She is hand knotted and woven from wool on a cotton foundation. She was woven in Iran, and has a nice, low pile, that is easy to clean up but is still soft underfoot. This rug measures approximately 3’6x16 and has a very rich palette of soft red with navy, gold and coral accents. She sports the geometric paisley motif common for this region.
Please note that the runner varies in width one to two inches due to the nature of the weaving. Reference photos for the variation in size. This runner is being sold as is. View photos to see how her coloring looks under inside lighting and outside, natural lighting. Runner has a hard spot at one end. We are not sure if the rug was repaired at one point which made it hard to the touch, by the fringe on one side. But this spot has been cleaned several times. Mira is being sold as is.
