Sophie is a beautiful Persian runner. She is hand knotted and woven from wool on a wool foundation. She was woven in the karajeh region, and has a nice, heavy pile, that is easy to clean up but is still soft underfoot. This rug measures approximately 3’3x11 and has a very rich palette of rust with red, navy and green accents. She sports the geometric diamond motif common for this region. Note that this rug has a slight lean to her and is not perfectly straight. Her measurements will vary a few inches because of the lean and her handmade natur.
